Do you know any good natural vitamin for old dogs?

I have a 10 years old Cocker Spaniel, she always been very sick and took hundred of medicines for ear mites, skin problems etc, so I don't want to give her anything industrialized.

Something great for dogs is flax seed oil. Flax seed oil provides nutrients (omega-3 fatty acids) that improve the health of both humans and dogs. If you do a quick search of the internet with flax seed oil and dog food you'll find a ton of references about it. Though this oil (as well as others) is known to be great for dogs, it's not added to many commercial dog foods, because the oil can become rancid. By excluding it the shelf-life of the food can be extended.





Flax seed oil is particularly good for treating skin and coat problems. (It really helped my dog with her dry, itchy skin.)





You don't have to buy the fancy stuff from the pet sites. Instead, you can buy flax seed oil capsules from any store that sells vitamins (I think I got the most recent ones at WalMart). Poke a hole in the capsule and squirt the oil on your dog's food.
