Where can I find a truely soft rolled leather collar for my dog?

We've had problems in the past finding just the right collar for our short haired dog. Anything she wears for more than a day at a time rubs the fur/skin on the bottom of her neck even when it's worn extremely loose. Most of the time we just leave her collarless but it's dangerous if she gets loose accidently and she really should have a collar on all the time.

I'm looking for a very soft - softer than is typical rolled leather collar, maybe something with suede and a kevlar or wire core for strenth and a place for a name/address plate attach.

Does anyone else's pets have this problem?

Do you have any hints or tips on where I can find such a collar?

Any hints or tips on how I can fix this problem?

We've tried just about every type of collar on the market and none of them work. Thanks.

Nylon Collars that have more than one layer of nylon are good and I don't think that your dog could stretch it. A very soft leather collar would stretch, or break if you had her on a leash, I think. A harness would be a good idea to try, if you have tried every collar.

You can look at these different collars and see if any of them are ones that you haven't tried yet. (I don't think you need the first one though)

Reply:Google Dr.Foster and Smiths website I got my beagle a leather color that is unbelieverable soft and she loves it. Trust me they are worth it.

Reply:While this isn't a rolled collar,it is lined with deerskin to be very gentle on the dog's neck. It's a very nice looking collar, too.
