Skin issues are not more or less common depending upon the length of your dogs coat, it depends on the breed. Specific breeds are pre-dispositioned to have skin issues.
Reply:no they can both get the same skin problems and have an equal chance of it.
Reply:It all depend on the breed some or just more prone to skin problems than other. a more pampered pouch the ones getting gromed all the time will develop more skin problems as your taking away the natural oil build up in the dogs coat.
